Our journey began with our own Great-Dane Blu. Witnessing his growth, we quickly recognized the importance of a natural diet that echoes the eating habits of his ancestral counterparts—wolves. Historically, dogs have thrived on a diet consisting of raw meat, bones, organs, and fats. This method of feeding, known for millennia, supports the notion that a natural diet leads to a healthier, more vibrant life. The Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods (BARF) diet, which includes raw meat, bones, offal, and in some beliefs, fruits and vegetables, adheres to this ancient nutritional regimen.

At Blu’s Raw and Natural, we are committed to sourcing only the finest ingredients at competitive prices. Our products are free from artificial preservatives, flavors, and colors, and comply with the stringent standards set by DEFRA. Each of our minces contains 75-80% meat, 10-15% bone, and 10% offal, ensuring a rich and balanced protein mix that caters to your dog’s dietary needs.

Recognizing the diverse nutritional requirements of different breeds, we offer a variety of protein sources. This variety helps ensure that your dog receives a well-rounded diet. We also provide the flexibility for you to decide whether to include fruits and vegetables in your dog’s diet, allowing for a personalized feeding plan tailored to their specific health needs.

For optimal health, adult dogs should consume 2–3% of their ideal body weight daily, typically divided between two meals. This feeding approach helps maintain their energy levels and supports a healthy adult size throughout their lifespan.
